My drunk ass brother was walking around Columbia SC one time, walked up to the Wendy's order window and tried to order...they wouldn't let him cause he was on foot.

Some bigshot WR from the Gamecocks pulled up in his bitchin' ride and said 'yo get in' and my brother ordered food with this guy. lol.

dont know name or what kind of ride though, he was a starter and a big prospect.

You're gonna bring a fight clip to a football v. hockey discussion? Seriously? I guess football fans really aren't that smart.

Here's how it's done, none of this two sloppy hits then running away like a girl shit.

I don't really dislike football, I was a Guard and Defensive End in high school before I screwed up my knee and needed surgery. Hockey is simply a much, much better sport. Aside from the enforcers, the average hockey player is a much better and more well-rounded athlete. The game is faster, requires constant awareness, and relies much more on team play and team chemistry.

And yeah fuck Crosby, he's good for the sport because he's a high profile talent, but he's a real crybaby on the ice and a complete douche.

I have absolutely no qualms about saying that hockey is manlier and requires greater skill than any other sport, but I still prefer football. Mainly because I don't know enough about hockey to get caught up on the season for the one or two games I might get to see if I'm lucky.

I don't think I would call it manlier than rugby, the hockey hits are faster (sit on the glass at a game some time, the speed of the game doesn't translate when you're watching it on tv), but there are no pads in rugby.

It's actually on much more regularly now, Versus has hockey nights Mondays and Tuesdays. You would be in the local area for all the Washington Capitals games, and probably get Flyers and Penguins, all 3 of which are very good teams.

Understanding the game is the barrier though. When espn used to carry hockey they had a "rules of the game" match-up every Wednesday night. During the game the commentators would explain some of the things that were happening and geared it towards people who weren't regular watchers. It was a pretty good idea but went away when the nhl-espn deal did.

me small brain no handle constant action. me like break between men running so me can relax.

I can see the soccer thing, there are some similarities there. I disagree about basketball though, you don't really need to out-play the wide open basket in order to score. Maybe it's just because basketball is about the lowest difficulty and most boring sport of all the major sports. I would much rather watch any sport than watch a basketball game.

well i agree that basketball sucks, but it plays kinda like hockey and soccer if you allow 30 timeouts and fouls for 2 shots and shit all day.

its like watching a real sport on a real skippy dvd.

I only mean its similar very tenuously at best, obviously.

I think soccer would be more well liked if it was on a smaller field, so the action was faster.

Yes I do, Matt Cooke is a cheapshoting bitch. Savard's probably gonna be out for another whole season because of Cooke's shot to the head, then Cooke gets back from the suspension and immediately hits another guy in the head.

Also it's unfair to bring up 'skill' in a football vs hockey argument simply because football doesn't require gay little ice skates and hockey doesn't require throwing a football. Athleticism however, something required in all sports, is no contest. I guarantee 90% of the 350lb linemen in the NFL are more athletic than hockey players...and linebackers and defensive backs? Haha don't get me started. Ray Lewis is 6'1, 250 pounds and can run 40 yards in 4.5 seconds. That kind of athleticism doesn't exist in the NHL.

And if 5 NFL linebackers took on 5 of the NHL's 'best fighters', the linebackers would dominate just because they are so damn strong, so damn fast and so fucking athletic. You honestly need to be a freak to play football professionally.

If by "rest of the world" you mean "just Americans who were too faggy to learn to play rugby so they made up their own sport and pretended they were good" then I guess you're right.

Keep on enjoying your "sport" with commercial breaks and player substitutions every 30 seconds, pussy.

if you're going to talk about linebackers and defensive linemen being so tough, why link a running back video?

football can't be for pussies. football is less than a minute of action for every 6 minutes diddling itself. that's inattentive of a pussy's needs.
