Maybe, but the ratio of violent crime is still enormously lower there than here. Some of the things Aestu posts, believe it or not, are objective facts.

I wasn't making a point of any kind about the crime rate in france.

Maybe, but remember, "we're talking about economics." I guess the topic morphs based on how poorly someone's arguments stand up to scrutiny?

Dvergar, posts like that are Mayo's job, and he does them better. Leave that to the professional.

Topics veer all the time. And your "scrutiny" is subjective so this means absolutely nothing.

Indeed they do, but who is generally responsible for all the derails and weird tangents?

Damn. This time it's me. I was obviously haxxrd...and I did say "generally."

Maybe, but the subject(s) tend to change when it appears someone is talking out of their ass, which tends to happen a lot. Even you felt the need to preface an "Aestu is right" post with "believe it or not."

The preface was there for the benefit of those who unceasingly ignore his points, even when they're factual.

There's the operative term of that sentence, and the biggest reason most of us no longer take/treat him seriously...well, that and Mr. 'where's your evidence' telling us how this "isn't a court of law" when his own favorite question is turned on him.

You have been the most consistently misinformed poster in these political threads. You come in with little understanding of the topics and make moronic arguments that don't stand up to 10 seconds of thought or the top return of a google search. You are, without a doubt, the last person that should be talking about other's credentials.

Maybe not, but unlike some of the rest of us, he's not presenting himself as the resident expert on everything, either.

If by misinformed, you mean i disagree with you, then yes, i am.

EDIT: Thinking there is only one right answer to anything outside of a textbook just proves that you don't know dick about the real world.

No see Jubber and Eturnal are at least informed. They are not always looking at things the right way (like thinking income taxes are the only thing funding the government, or calling themselves christians while supporting political agendas that severely hurt the poor), but they at least make the attempt.

The kind of shit you bring up is one to two lines and represents the most superficial of thinking ("So if we're going to war for oil, how come the oil prices haven't gone down?"). Your points get quickly refuted, where upon you backpedal onto blanket statements.

Usdk might be misinformed from your opinion Dvergar, but with the above quote you're showing your own ignorance and misinformation.

1) I'm positive both Jubber and I are well aware of which taxes fund the government, knowing income taxes are the greatest supplier of revenue, with things like capital gains, payroll and other corporate taxes probably filling out the rest of the revenues. To say we don't know that is wrong.

2) I don't know about Jubber, but I'm not a Christian. I don't subscribe to any religion.

3) Which political agendas so I support which 'severely hurt' the poor? Why is it worse to 'hurt the poor' than it is to 'hurt the rich'?
