Do you think it will be a fun game and what kind of profit do you think the real life Auction House could net? 25 cents for items or 25 dollars? I need info people D:

that RL auction house is a real turnoff for me, honestly. you could probably make some money doing it, but you gotta figure the time investment.

farming the gear to sell takes time, unless you're just buying and selling off the AH

I knew a guy who did this in D2. Ran dungeons all day to get gold to sell. The yield is terrible and he was the biggest loser I ever met. Which is saying a lot.

Nothing has seen a bigger downfall in expectations for me than D3. Its like that South Park where Indiana Jones gets raped by Lucas and Spielberg, except this time its by Activision and that dude at the end of the Greed level in Dante's Inferno who was your dad.

Hey, does the idea of merging RPG elements and CoD excite you?
Do you like throwing away wheelbarrows of money?

Boy, do I have a game for you!

Xeddin kept asking me why I wasn't interested in D3. I found it impossible to explain it to him in terms he could understand. He's a smart kid, it's unfortunate the up-and-coming generation is so deprived they literally don't know what they're missing. Someone should go talk to that kid.

I lost interest in this when I realized Activision is involved.

Personally, I'm going to need some very positive feedback from a Beta tester in order to want to buy this.

I just read/internalized that. Legitimate RL money direct to in-game? Lol.

The fact is that there will always be those guys who grind like Chinese peasants 20 hours a day driving prices down to cents on the hour. In a game the size of D3 with that kind of crowd, there's no fucking way that the D3 AH will beat on a time/money basis picking up soda cans and pennies off the street.

I'm serious. If you walk down the street, and pick up ten empty bottles and five pennies in the course of an hour, you will be making more on average than farming in D3.

Don't they take something like 15% of what you get from an item and stuff it into their pocket? It just seems like another attempt to milk money out of people as they rapidly run away from Blizzard titles.
