lack of substance in hateful comments vs war veteran with consistent history of keeping word, defending liberty, predicting economic conditions, and flawless career as a doctor.. hmm tough decisions in life. brb pizza
How you can become a doctor (12ish years of heavy science-based curriculum) and not only believe in a higher power but also not accept evolution is beyond me. Clearly a nutjob.

Ron Paul's on that stage.
What's wrong with my country right now, is as George Carlin put it... kids from a young age in the country are discouraged to ask WHY, to question things.. they just accept what their parents or people they like tell them. They don't research or question anything. Just smile and nod, do what your party tells ya or what you hear on the huffington post or maybe even the dailys kos or fox news. Move alone folks nothing to see here.
Good night i have to deal with a CSIB audit in the morning /cry

Guys like you think anyone that disagrees with you, regardless of their reasons, is "crazy," or "stupid," or whatever tag you choose to use for "deficient." I don't know what Ron Paul's stance on evolution is...and I don't really care, either. His opinion on the matter isn't important. I haven't heard him suggest that everyone else is obligated to believe what he does, or that they're "crazy" for disagreeing with him.
QUESTIONER: …All of the candidates were asked if they believe the theory of evolution to be true, but I didn’t see [your answer] and I’m wondering, do you believe it to be true or false?
REP PAUL: Well, first I thought it was a very inappropriate question for the presidency to be decided upon a scientific matter. And uh, I uh, I think it’s a theory. The theory of evolution. And I don’t accept it as a theory. [snip] The creator that I know created us, each and every one of us and created the universe, and the precise time and manner and uh, you know, I just don’t think we’re at the point where anybody has absolute proof on either side.

I personally don't see why evolution and creationism are mutually exclusive, but I don't see what's so crazy about people having religious beliefs...probably because I'm not a pseudo-intellectual know-it-all with delusions of adequacy.

Your Pal, Jubber
This is why no one with >2 brain cells takes you seriously.
Questioning military and foreign policy is Paul's calling card.
If simple religious belief is grounds for being a nutjob, then just about every president we've ever had was a nutjob.
One could easily apply such formula to people who do or think anything. I could blanket statement everybody who's ever had sex outside of marriage as sex crazed, and it would be just as true and worthwhile of being brought up in discussion as the "people with religious belief are nutjobs" spiel.
In that, neither are true or worth being stated. Maybe it's not trying to be stated, but it's sure being implied in this thread.
Now, if you think Paul's policies are crazy, simply on their own merits, that's an entirely different thing. And I don't want people who think that to feel I'm lumping them in with those who are implying religion is grounds for dismissal.
"Ok we aren't such things and birds are pretty advanced. They fly and shit from anywhere they want. While we sit on our automatic toilets, they're shitting on people and my car while a cool breeze tickles their anus. That's the life."

I hope you'll forgive me for not being concerned about how seriously you take me, since the only real difference between you and Aestu is that you're capable of expressing your conceit and condescension in less than 14 paragraphs.
