Fallout 1 and 2 let you murder children (along with everyone else in the game). You can kill literally everyone you encounter.

I never tried to when I played them. Maybe I should.

I read somewhere that they wanted you to be able to kill kids in the newer Fallouts, but they either got sued or couldn't due to legal reasons.

Would that be more likely to increase or decrease the rate of infanticide and child abuse? Discuss.

I liked punching little kids and your wife in the first Fable.

I imagine being able to violently dismember children in first person perspective would have earned the game an AO rating, which would have been a death sentence for sales. The key being the first person 3d perspective.

Back to Mass Effect... I'm level 30-something and I just completed Virmire. Now whenever I level up I only get one skill point instead of 2. Is this going to be the new thing for the rest of the game? There's an achievement to max Shepard's stats... and I can't imagine getting that with one skill point each level. -__-

There isn't one to max his stats. You get it at level 50 and 60.

It's not possible to max the stats.

Oh, I must've been reading something for a different game?

Anyways, I just beat Mass Effect. Killed the council. Killed the rachni. Did almost all the side-quests I could find. I explored most of the systems in that stupid Mako car... but now what? I thought I complete a 'majority' of the game but I guess I was wrong since that achievement didn't unlock. Is there a way I can continue playing as my Dirty Sanchez Beaner Shepard or now the Black guy king of the universe and Saren is dead... do I have to do it all again? I think I just kept over-writing the same save file so I don't have anything to roll back to. Packers v Bears is about to start otherwise I'd just fire the game up and look for myself.

Last time I played through FNV, I started the game with 9 Intelligence, 9 Endurance and 8 Luck, just so I could cap my stats and skills. Besides, with E-DE (I hate dogs), Perception is nearly irrelevant.

EDIT:

Always start with 9 intelligence and 1 charisma, it's easily the most useless. From there balance however you like, I wanted to get all of the good perks so mine was fairly balanced.

I believe I started with:

S: 6, P: 6, E: 7, I: 9, C: 1, A: 5, L: 6.

Now after completing all of the DLC and @lv. 47 I now have:

S: 9(+2), P: 7, E: 9(+1), I: 10, C: 1, A: 7, (+1), L: 8 (+1).

Everything but charisma was implanted, then the additional points come from DLC perks.

Max endurance for all implants.

I immediately went to Vegas from the start and cleared out the casinos, then bought all the implants so from level 2 on I had 10 Intelligence.

That's the best way, but I skipped both CHR and the HP Regen implant. With my unexpected extra point I may go pick up one of them though.
