Playing as link made me exceptionally good at throwing.

We used to play melee all the time at college. People would come and go throughout the day at the commuter lounge and pop in and out of games. The best player I've ever seen could routinely dominate the next 3 best players 3 on 1 with Peach. Like, 5 stock battles and he'd lose two lives to their 15 total. He went to a tourney in Philly and got fairly far before being eliminated.

just thought of this thread again. dota obv rocks, but on to smash bros.

been cleaning our basement which is full of enough shit for an entire other house, and i found a trashbag with ALL of my old video game shit. my pokemans, my fucking sega genesis/snes that i couldn't find, some of my n64 games that i had lost, ps1/2 games, and my MOTHA FUCKIN GAMECUBE.

after i get good at smash again, you bros seriously need to try emulating it on Dolphin and find out if it's too laggy for us to netplay. mine works fine, just haven't played it due to not having a controller. but god damnit this is going to eat into my dota 2 time.

If you spammed down+b as pikachu, yes.

I never found Fox or Falco all that overpowered, but no one in our group particularly liked them. Some of the better players I've played against were exceptional with characters that apparently weren't that great. Peach, Bowser, Ness.
