Remember to stealth.

Also Cloak of Skill is a nice ability to use.

I think you're supposed to be Sub. Necra would know better, I play Mutilate regardless of what's right.

Daggers sure are pointy.

I like Mut it's just the energy regen from Sub is really nice. Not to mention double CDs + Shadowstep. Haven't really liked Mut for PvP since they shifted focus balls deep into poisons.

I PvE Mut though.

Anyways, there aren't many tips to give since the biggest one I used to give was about stun locks and that I thought was common knowledge (apparently not). Here is a list of no brainers!

If you're sub, keep 100% uptime on recup. Mut, keep a rupture up.

If you put Shadow Dance on your main bar, make a CS/Garrote Macro for it's postion in the bar while dancing. If it's on another bar, make a cast sequence macro for it and CS/Garrote. If you have enough hot keys or can spare them, put Sap, Premed and Garrote or CS on your bar (whichever isn't first in your cast sequence macro if you have one).

Blood DKs are hella gay but the best way to beat them is to stack bleeds and kite/stealth and even then you probabaly won't win. Gouge helps since it doesn't break on bleeds when spec'd for it (you should spec for it).

Against casters, glyph of garrote basically gives you back stun lock (4.5 second silence into a 5 point KS).

You move faster in stealth now then out so it's normally better to be in (still getting used to this).

I prefer to rush targets down in my opener. Dance + AP/Agi trinket. Normally forces a trinket and/or kills them.

Hemo is standardized now and hits just as hard with a dagger as with a sword as does Ambush (you can Ambush with non-daggers now).

Rogue duels seem fairly gay now and I haven't quite figured them out yet but an approach similar to that of Blood DKs seems to work good. They can't heal without combo points, etc.

Shiv tanks to get rid of vigilance every 20 seconds. Reduces their damage/healing.

Cloak and Combat Readiness share a CD so choose wisely.

If I can think of anything else I'll throw it out here but I think that's it.

wait, then what's the advantage to using daggers over swords for sub? for backstab? I kinda replaced backstab with hemo until someone told me that was bad...

Just backstab really.

I mean if you really want to spam hemo you can, it frees up a couple points you can use to get extra healing/goodies. Backstab is 6 more energy than Hemo if it crits.

I am wondering why I wasn't asked about Rogues.

After all, I was the #1 Rogue on BH. Isn't that right, Jas-on(top)? Q.T 3.14.

Necrachilles used to stun lock me so bad I would try to trink early (not for Blind) in hopes of throwing him off with a bladestorm but I always got KS immediately or dismantled :(

Usually I save trink for blind like you should.

Protip: on my warrior I had mortal strike macro to ensure 2h was equipped in case I went defensive. You could use a similar one to swap weapons with different poisons situationally, or in the event that combat becomes viable to swap to daggers for sap and swap back.

You don't need daggers to sap?

I used a weapon swap macro for crip poison in Grim Batol final boss or w/e.

Shrine and Dashe both try and trinket my KS but I just cloak and they waste Deathcoil/Fearbomb/Shadowfury and still get stun locked =/
To be fair though, it's either trinket KS or die.
