Usually I save trink for blind like you should.

Protip: on my warrior I had mortal strike macro to ensure 2h was equipped in case I went defensive. You could use a similar one to swap weapons with different poisons situationally, or in the event that combat becomes viable to swap to daggers for sap and swap back.

Necra is a fgt and always has an escape route.

i was thinking popping envenom then switching to a second insta poison dagger for the duration, but that seems like too much a pain

Why?

I'm assuming you're talking instant/deadly. If that's the case and you're talking about envenom with a 5 stack of DP, you'd be better off keeping just DP. Once DP reaches 5 stacks, in addition to refreshing the duration of the stack, it applies the mainhand poison. So It's basically like you're rocking double instant. Besides, that will help keep your stacks up if it's someone spamming cleanse.

The way deadly poison works is also why Mut AoE is so nuts lol. Instant/Deadly/Deadly. FoK is applying two stacks sometimes so in 2-3 FoKs DP is fully stacked on all targets and all 3 posions are procing instant with each FoK now.
