I've never been able to understand the whole horde pride dynamic. Having only Alliance characters I guess I simply never could join the horde RAH RAH side. "For the Horde" means so much more to them than "For the Alliance!" means to any alliance player. I'm not sure why.

I think you have to look at the facts. Horde players are significantly more likely to be angrier, uglier, more tattooed, and listen to a ton more metal than alliance players. Does this translate into more fanatical loyalty to their faction?

Horde players are also generally older than Alliance players (you generally don't have as many stupid kids playing Horde). Anyway, I'm not sure the exact cause...but it's a phenomenon that doesn't surprise me.

Shocking that a Blizzard employee supported the video, though.

Then again...do we really need to argue about Blizz's horde bias? I mean those racials.... ;)

No comments about how she got pvp'd on a pvp server?

Talk about the WoW forums going down the toilet.

Ahahahahahaha these fucking people. I bet not a single one of those whiny emos is good at the game, either.

Samwise has been with Blizzard since WC1 (if not since Rock and Roll Racing) and he's most of the reason the games look the way they do. These idiots clamoring for his head are going to be disappointed. Besides, it's not like they'll do anything when they don't get their way; they're Blizzcon attendees which means there's a huge likelihood that they're hopeless fangirls.

Having spent a good amount of time on both factions I can tell you they are both full of the same pieces of shit. The exception being that horde is more likely to have the kind of people who pvp in order to be better than other people (as opposed to those who pvp simply because enjoy pvp), whereas alliance seems more likely to have people who raid for status symbols.

I would like to see statistics on tattoos.

I think the amount of people with horde symbols tattooed on their bodies is significantly greater than those with alliance tattoos.

I would then like to see statistics on the % of assaults committed by people with tattoos.

We could then deduce that horde players are more likely to be violent criminals.

Of course I'm kidding...even so, I bet more people have horde tattoos. Hordies are just more fanatical about it...look at <Miller Time> ;)

Its less gay to have something that you can pass off as a tribal tattoo on your skin as opposed to a shield with a lion and some gears and a arrow or whatever the hell the alliance once was.

PS: Both factions are filled with equal parts of fuckwads.

I had no idea this was an issue and I think it's retarded. Really it has nothing to do with ally vs horde and more to do with the WoW community itself.

It's garbage like this, and Blizzard's consistently passive and patronizing take on it, that shows what total BS Blizzard's "casualization" spiel is. WoW, MMOs, video gaming in general, won't become casual until the genre divorces itself from antisocial behavior, and by that I don't mean being a shut-in, I mean games that depict antisocial behavior and game communities populated by people who don't know how to behave decently.

This is also why Vanilla WoW was more casual than WotLK and why Mario games were as casual as it gets.

I'd be patronizing too to some dim fuck who got in a fight over a video game.
