This shit takes time. You realize that, right? Even if they are caught murdering children in a video they themselves delivered to their superiors, they are still afforded all the rights of any other accused citizen.

People like me are what's wrong with america? yeah, fuck the blue collar guys who just go about their business and don't bother anyone, make waves, or break the law.

So why haven't you joined the protests ethan? Not like you'll have to take time off work.

If the average citizen is caught on tape, seen by a crowd of people, beating the shit out of random people with no provocation, he goes straight to jail, not "administrative leave", and there sure as hell isn't an apologia from his employer to the effect that "well, it was justified, whatever, we'll look into it".

If the roles were reversed the cop would have shot the guy on the spot.

The Nazi mentality is predicated on the belief that laying down and accepting tyranny is good and to defend one's freedoms is bad.

That's why the Nazis would hold mass rallies and wear the uniforms and drape huge banners everywhere. To appeal to people like you who think that "not making waves" is the way to go.

The goal is to take the outrageous and make it seem reasonable by convincing everyone to just "go about their business" and accept the evil status quo. As with the cops, the underlying, omnipresent theme is self-delegated authority.

The necessity of defending one's freedoms is a civic obligation. If you fail to do so, you are serving evil. Slavery is predicated on the obedience of the enslaved.



I don't want to get an arrest history. I want to do things that would be seriously compromised by having such a history. I don't make the big sacrifices, but I don't disparage those who do, and in my own circle of affairs I do what I can to stand up to tyranny.

And because I was gone... A few pages back Ethan was going on about the possibility of the cops planting a provocateur within the crowds to instigate trouble with the police. Isn't just as likely that the protesters had an 'inside' with the police forces to 'throw the first stone' in order to make the police look bad and the protesters look like the victims? Knowing how corrupt and evil the cops are, I'm sure they wouldn't hesitate to turn on their own knowing there wouldn't be an investigation... right? The truth is it's equally possible that the protesters (or their sympathizers) can assimilate (or plan to) into the opposing crowd in order to cause chaos to advance the OWS agenda.

Cops beating up kids doesn't really advance any agenda, it takes the focus off the financial fuckery and puts it on the cops. If anything, police brutality is more beneficial to those being protested than to the protesters.

Cop gave me a hard time about going about my business (taking out trash). Stood up to him, didn't stand for his bullshit, he'll be less likely to do it in the future.

But then again there are Nazis like Usd who think that anyone who isn't them who is the object of arbitrary persecution must be in the wrong. Because obviously having a badge makes you infallible.



The difference between you and I is I am not so small and cowardly I need to denigrate anyone who possesses greater courage than I do.



I had a nervous breakdown and it was recognized as such. The guy didn't show up to press charges because he himself was in some bad business.

Being a "protestor" is as simple as showing up. What, you think, a few years ago, some guy entered the police academy and did all the police shit just to show up to a protest some years down the line and suddenly reveal his true affiliation?

Again, "we can't know everything so we can't know anything, everything is 'hypothetically' possible, so we can't know if anything is or is not true, so I'm just going to discard all available facts and information and believe whatever I want". That is what your argument boils down to.

Oh, I guess I didn't read thread after thread about you calling the police, military or pretty much anyone else that isn't you bad people for not being you.

Clearly not everyone who isn't me because in this very thread I praise at least some people who aren't me. I don't praise soldiers or cops because they're cowards who are too scared to face life without the mantle of authority or subject themselves to the same standards they force on others.
