It's a vanilla private server that this guy is working on with some bros, and unlike the other private servers that exist, he's actually trying to make it work like it's supposed to. No buggy bosses, no stupid bullshit, etc. the temptation for me is FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF and was wondering if any other bros would want to do it.

it goes live today.

I've fucked with private servers for lulz before, the issue for me has always been lack of community, stupid 12 year old kids in donor gear that hit as hard as a raid boss and of course the bugginess.

If there was a decent community, I could deal with bugginess..12 year old kids in donor gear is a dealbreaker imo. Vanity items > +999 on every piece.

It looks like they have the beginnings of a decent community, 130+ online at launch. I'm down to mess around with it, maybe make it a diversion if I like it. There is also no stupid OP donor gear which is nice. I'm not against vanity items as a reward for those that wish to donate though, they could put those in and probably not piss a lot of ppl off.

there isn't any of that shit. the only custom options like that are to start at 49 with some gold, mount, etc, and to alter your exp rate. both are available to everyone. i can't tell about bugginess until it goes live, but he has several videos on youtube showing some script heavy fights and they all work the way they're supposed to.

inv. planning on fury deeps since I'm most familiar with that, at least Wotlk wise. I'd have to unlearn WOTLK shit for Vanilla, but nothing I couldn't handle.

you wouldn't like vanilla fury warrior. you will be useless until AQ40 and after that you die every single boss fight from threat. vanilla is miles upon miles different then wotlk, just saying.

theres a how to on that site somewhere, ill try to find it. we don't have 40 yet so yeah.

No, I know specs and gameplay changes extensively and rotations, etc. Would arms be better before AQ40?

warriors didn't do damage until you got AQ40 level gear really. at that point you spiral out of fucking control.
