In the top left corner there is a blue box. It reads what looks like a serial number and my current screen resolution. I can't get the thing to go away, and it tops everything.

I can't get the piece of shit to go away, and googling has only led to annoying the hell out of me.

Try unplugging your monitor from the wall and plugging it back in.

When did it start? Have you installed any drivers/programs/looked at dodgy pr0n recently? <--- pr0n isn't autocorrected. <--- autocorrected is autocorrected. <--- wtf

I've unplugged it a number of times already.

And it happened when I turned my computer on today, screen had like a small stroke with some ticking noise, then everything went A-OK except the stupid blue box in the corner.

Rofl. The fix was the dumbest thing ever.

I had to power it off with the button.
