servers are so overloaded atm. games crashing every few minutes from the server load. my guess is it will calm down within a week or so once people either lose interest or the hardware is upgraded.

It's not DRM. It actually has nothing to do with private servers and I have no real reason to suspect it beyond my personal paranoia.

Warden is a thing that checks your other active processes to make sure you're not cheating (speedhacking/Glider/model changers) while the game is running. It's also got basic scanning against shit like keyloggers. Basically it's punkbuster for WoW.

It can scan any open file on your PC. It can see URLs in active windows. Tread carefully, don't ever visit any dodgy sites that Blizzard would have an issue with.

No googling Warden, no Glider FAQs (even if not official site), no gold buying / selling sites (I know you wouldn't anyway, just saying)

Unless things have changed, it only looks at what is loaded in RAM. Regardless, you should have zero fear running any older WoW client versions and a retail copy at the same time. Keep them in separate folders and you're good to go.

You all remaking your first/main toons? I guess I'll make a Mage/Rogue. I started with Rogue and finished with Mage.

Depends if JaseOntop is a UD rogue or not.

Stop being a little bitch and download the torrent and change the realmlist.wtf server info to whatever scriptcraft is. Never run the updater. Boom, done.

It's so incredibly hard to get banned in WoW. You literally have to troll blizzard for years on end to have it happen. And the first 4-5 times you get banned you just say whoops i musta been hacked.

I have good ol Necra but I'm debating rolling lock as my main or possibly a hunter. I'm playing around with the different classes to find one I like.

Battletard is my warrior, not working on him atm.

Heard some PAC d00d say in general that 'it's pretty pathetic that my connection here is more consistent and stable than on retail'

Paraphrasing a bit. Obviously he's referring to actual Internet connection and not disconnects and restarts initiated by the admin to fix shit.
