I think we've had a thread similar to this before, but there's so much that grinds my gears....


YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS?


The fucking security CAPTCHA codes that even an actual human can't read. You're just trying to sign up for something, or log into a site, and the numbers and letters are all crammed together. Is it a 0 or an O? Is it a lower case d and an l or something....or is it an a with a weird l and a b. Sometimes they are letters that you literally can't fucking read. Then you take your best guess...hit submit, then they yell at you and you have to start all over again.

That really grinds my gears.

I went on a rant with our developers about some asshat not excluding lower-case "L" and capital "O" and such in our password schemes. That's like fucking Jr. High computing, right there.

I absolutely agree with you. It drives me freaking batty. Especially when I am trying to figure it out on my microscopic cellphone screen, make a mistake and then have to wait for the page to load all over again (sometimes deleting previously typed data.)

My irritation for the day: When you wait around all day for UPS to drop off a "signature-required" package only to discover that they have ninja-delivered it to your neighbor's porch, without knocking, signed for by "PORCH." I'm lucky I have an honest neighbor. (Or one that doesn't want a PS3)

I like the ones that make two letters/numbers look like one and vice versa.
