I talk tough, but in practice I "put the pussy on a pedestal", to reference the 40 year old virgin. When it comes to women, I ALWAYS respect them. If I didn't, I doubt I would have as many female friends as I do. That said, I would also not give in to a woman if there were an important football game on that I wanted to watch.



I actually have a date with a woman tonight. We're going to a sports bar/grill to eat some food and watch sports. It's date #2, I'll be dressing well, complimenting her, and I'll even pick up the check. And no, I'm not going to try to sleep with her yet either because I'd like to get to know her better.

Made me think of this:

There's a lot of truth the old phrase, "Respect is earned, not given," even when you're talking about women. There's a certain of respect, call it common courtesy, that you show everyone until they make it clear they're not even worthy of that. When you're dealing with a woman you'll eventually figure out what kind of person she is, and once you do you just have to remember that you "can't treat a ho like a housewife."
