About half of what I know about Ron Paul is from what friends or others have told me. I'm certainly not a RP zombie, but I've only heard good. Could someone enlighten me on what his beliefs really are? Are his recent campaign messages only to lure certain demographic profiles?

That last link directs to a blank page/log-in page.

I did a google search about this earlier, and so far the only places running the story are fringe sites like the one you linked earlier that attempt to spam pop-up ads at my browser. I'm not going to say that makes the story unbelievable, but I'm going to remain skeptical until there's a reputable news organization willing to put their name on the line to run the story. It may turn out that Anonymous is saying Paul is deeply involved because the people they hacked said he was, and those people are full of shit (because seriously, white supremacists are super-honest and trustworthy, right?). If they've got e-mails from Paul, then ka-pow, yeah, he's a tool, but if it's just a bunch of asshats saying "we like Ron Paul," that's not his fault. There are probably a few groups on the liberal side of the spectrum that President Obama would rather not actively support him, as well.

If it's true, though, fuck that guy.

I remember some individuals that had some pretty radical positions and ideology tied to Obama when he was running for office... the William Ayers, Rev. Wrights and Tony Rezkos, to name a few. I also remember a few people around here pretending like associations and relationships didn't matter when vetting a person for President.
