Warlock representation is about 5% lately. Maybe less. The class is now one of the most skill-dependent but also wonky; they've changed it beyond recognition. If you're good at it, finding a home should be easy.

The game and community really suck lately. There's a lot of false elitism especially since the overwhelming majority of raid guilds have quit, so absolutely mediocre and even flatly bad players are talking themselves up for being top 200 when in reality they are at the level that was top 2000 a few years ago.

I log in for seasonal events and mount farming. That's all.

I played a legendary staff warlock in 3s yesterday. My warrior came in 2nd place damage doing 1.2 million damage, and the warlock came in first doing 2.3 million damage. :/

So I guess all the locks are PvP ing then >.>

Lock was fun to level but from a PvE perspective they are tough to play because of movement fights. Should give them some DK like ability to put up a bunch of "free" dots in one global(at least in Afflic so you don't "start off behind"). I think a bunch of the problem is you can't just play one spec and that turns off casuals which is a huge portion of the wow POP atm : {. There are a lot of easier DPS class's to play as most of them are set up so you just hit the ability that procs / fill with Xspell, VS locks, rogues(the two least played class's as I recall) and rets who you are basically keeping up dots/buffs respectively... kinda boring.

Aestu is also right as far as most guilds being bad by comparison to the old days, I only raid on my main 2 days a week and we are still like just out of the top 2k(and we have had shit for attendance this tier which is a big issue in lol10mans)

Hey Dotz! I'm actually leveling a lock atm. I want two 85s when the MOP prepatch comes out, that way I can decide if druid or lock is best for MOP.

The only good reason to play right now is to prepare for MOP/achievement farm. I've only heard that Dragon Soul, Cataclysm's end game, is far too easy. Eddiee, Fant, and Tril all still raid but they have a pretty solid 10 man group already. We're all in Symbolic (lvl 25).

MOP's pre-release patch will be somewhere around May, I'm guessing. That's when activity will rise again.

Edit: Everything Aestu said is true about the game. Every kid is whining about how MOP doesn't look fierce enough for them so they stick around and conquer what's left of cataclysm, but they'll be the first in line for MOP's release.

A lot of good buckets are gone, but a few may return for MOP, we'll have to wait and see.

Well the correct spelling is "Hohenheim" who was a warrior I knew from Prophets of Vengeance(my guild Crimson Eagles merged with Prophets of Vengeance in Dec of 05 to form Ethereal Legion) so I want to say I met him in like mid 05. He was jokingly known as "TripleH" and I made my "DoubleH" in Feb06(Made him the weekend of my Bday ! for super healertanking instance's with my 4 buddy's DPS alts). The name in general was because he was going to be(still is) my alchemist and when I hit random on the male human page it most resembled that Char from FMA which I had watched not to far before.


In other news I hate coming up with Char names >.>
