While both statements here are true in whole or part, neither are relevant. I was promised a side-show where Ron Paul was outed as a hoodie-head, and all I got was this stupid thread. Not only were there no e-mails from Ron Paul to anyone in this, one of the mentions regarding Ron Paul was addressing how his security staff didn't know the proper etiquette for dealing with "respected white people," or whatever the particular line of nonsense was. While these e-mails are proof that these people care a great deal about Ron Paul, there is no evidence here showing that Ron Paul cares about these people, or even to indicate that he knows they exist (other than as a security problem that his staff has to bounce).

@ Zaryi - As of now, Santorum won as many states as Romney and has more delegates than Paul and Gingrich combined. It sounded like you were acting like Santorum was at the bottom of the pack so I figured I'd drop this here as an FYI...

Already did. Ron Paul senior staffer writes back saying that Ron is sympathetic to these people and their constituency and apologizes for their perceived mistreatment.

I like how the only three arguments against Ron Paul presented in this thread (and any other) seem to be:

1. He's racist (unsubstantiated by anyone other than some anonymous trolls)
2. He hasn't won a bunch of primaries...meaning he's not popular enough...so I guess that means he is unfit to be President?
3. He thinks it's 1890 (or whatever the charge is).

Sure he probably won't ever be president...but the arguments against him are shaky at best. I need a lot more than "he's racist and thinks it's 1890" to convince me that he still isn't far better than any other Republican candidate.
