I'm talking about virility in terms of psychology and values.
(It's too easy for me to say it's fitting you'd fail to understand that.)
Women care relatively little about a man's sexual performance unless he means nothing else to her.
Sorry I took virility to mean its literal definition.

Historically, masculine attributes such as beard growth have been seen as signs of virility and leadership (for example in ancient Egypt and Greece)
I have a beard. Score 1 for the little guy!

But as you say, it all boils down to getting into the bedroom so you can use the equipment. Doesn't that prove your entire view is hypocritical?
I think we're confusing two things here. Battletard's device would primarily be used for one night stands, I believe.
I added the stuff on salary, earning potential, because these are things that would make a woman possibly go "ooo i'll sleep with this person, and maybe it will translate into something longer lasting, and he'll have money...WIN/WIN"
I think from my perspective, I would use the device just to get women into bed since I think the aid of such a device would compensate some of my shortcomings when it comes to picking women up for a fling.
If I was looking for a long term connection (truthfully, it's what I'm really looking for...one night stands would only serve to make me momentarily happy), I wouldn't use the device.
