My guild did emotransfer to a really shit TBC server that I tried out and it was terrible.

We were top horde progression.

It kind of sucks how fast things are moving. AQ opened last weekend. Meh.

I doubt he'll just let it die though. It's got a very solid community. He will figure something out.

i highly doubt this server will die thanks to /v/ and reddit tripling the population of the server in like 3 days thanks to upvaotes and what not...

PreReddit Boost was at like 700ish horde side

Post reddit boost were at about 1.8K horde side

Top guild so far is alliance: Alixium with BWL cleared (and the server GM in their guild)
Top Horde Guild is: Grizzly (who are asshats) with MC cleared followed by Wired(SUPER AWESOME GRIM/YEWLUSE/CZIIKI GUILD) with just Rag left in MC.

Okay so:

- idk what I need to download and what to do with it after I download it. do I even need it if I have a retail copy of wow?
- can I NOT play my regular account with this on my computer?
- what is the updater that I'm not supposed to run according to Meowth?
- can I ever get rid of this if I lose interest?

-Instructions as how to play, and yet you have to make an account through the site to be able to log into the server
-http://worldofscriptcraft.com/site/register/

-You cannot play under your regular account, but you can create an account with the same credentials

-Updater things are in the instructions

-Yes you can get rid of this at any time by just uninstalling the WoW client

Yes you can dual box due to the use of 2 different server lists, hell you could have multiple instances of WoW open and be playing retail and on a private server it wouldn't matter.

As for torrenting:
Install this: http://www.utorrent.com/
and then get the torrent the link from pirate bay

Torrenting is just extreme peer to peer file-sharing using small packages of data (usually about 8MB packages) and the reassembled as a complete file on your end.

Think Blizz updates, except it can be used to illegally acquire music, games, software, etc.

I'm honestly not sure if you can have 2 installs of WoW and have the ability to switch between, I understand what your asking, but i think if you have 2 separate installs of WoW (IE: Retail and Scriptcraft), you should be able to switch in between games. So no they don't work off the same WoW install, but if you have 2 installs updated to different points you'll be able to play on your retail account and then quit that WoW version, launch the other WoW install and play scriptcraft.

You are worse than my parents. How is that even possible?

Download uTorrent that was linked
Install uTorrent

Click this
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/5158084/ ... ___Patches
Click on GET TORRENT, either the magnet or the part in (parenthesis)
Wait for it to download
DOWNLOAD FINISHED!
Right click the torrent
Choose "Open Containing Folder"

Right click the .zip folder and extract "Client Install1 here", you will probably have to do this for the second one also.
Start the .exe and it should install
When asked what folder to install to, make sure it is different than the one your retail is installed at.
Such as
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\<all this crap>
Change it to
C:\Program Files\World of Scriptcraft\<all this crap>

Copy the two patches to the new install folder
Apply the two patches
Open the realmlist file with notepad or something else and change it to whatever scriptcraft is.

TLDR reading from several different websites is apparently difficult.

The only way that I can even remotely fathom Blizzard detecting it would be if

A) You ran retail client at the same time you ran Scriptcraft AND

B) Warden is permitted by law and TOS to scan whether a file has been altered AND

C) Scan the contents of the file to assess the degree to which it has been altered

Or

A) Warden leaves behind some sort of Spyware program to detect what goes on and report back upon reconnecting to official servers

I find both of these scenarios to be highly unlikely.

Safest bet is just don't run both clients at the same time. There is almost no reason to.
