Download uTorrent that was linked
Install uTorrent

Click this

Click on GET TORRENT, either the magnet or the part in (parenthesis)
Wait for it to download
DOWNLOAD FINISHED!
Right click the torrent
Choose "Open Containing Folder"

Right click the .zip folder and extract "Client Install1 here", you will probably have to do this for the second one also.
Start the .exe and it should install
When asked what folder to install to, make sure it is different than the one your retail is installed at.
Such as
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\<all this crap>
Change it to
C:\Program Files\World of Scriptcraft\<all this crap>

Copy the two patches to the new install folder
Apply the two patches
Open the realmlist file with notepad or something else and change it to whatever scriptcraft is.

TLDR reading from several different websites is apparently difficult.

Much appreciated! I think I'm on the right track, but I'm stuck. I managed to download/extract everything, now I'm on patching. I don't know if I was supposed to do this, but I downloaded the torrent to my desktop, then extracted all the zipped folders to that very same file. Now when I run the patches, it says it's unable to launch because I already have patch 4.something. What does I do?

EDIT: Then I thought maybe I didn't need to since they're already in the folder, and maybe I can skip to changing the realmlist. Turns out, I don't have a realmlist thingy in the folder?

Open notepad. Create realmlist.wtf

Save it as that extension.

Your file should have only one line exactly as follows

set realmlist scriptcraft.servegame.com

kk, I opened a new notepad, copy-pasted that line, and then saved it and dragged it to the folder where I extracted all the files to (which is the same folder that contains the zipped files, and the folder is named World of Scriptcraft).

the patches still aren't launching though, any ideas?

basically, I have a folder on my desktop named "World of Scriptcraft." It is the folder that was downloaded from the torrent. I renamed the folder, and then extracted the three zipped folders inside to the SAME folder, World of Scriptcraft. This is what the folder contains:

- wow_additional_files (zipped)
- wow_client_install1 (zipped)
- wow_client_install2 (zipped)
- wow_additional_files
- wow_client_install1
- wow_client_install2
- wow-1.12.0-engb-patch
- wow-1.12.0-to-1.12.1-engb
- realmlist.wtf (this was made by me, as per battle's advice)

any ideas?

In the process of reinstalling both...

I had to launch scriptcraft from the scriptcraft folder. I couldn't just use the WoW shortcut cause it was normal WoW.

Install game (client install 1)
copy the patches the the install location (you know, where it asked you "where you want to install the game" Protip: this should not be the same spot as your current, live subsription.)
run the first patch
run the second patch
copy realmlist to WTF folder

I have no idea what "additional files" is but I'm assuming it is addons.

Additional Files contains a DirectX folder and a folder for Mac users only.

when I tried to run the patches, it would say "cannot start because this doesn't need to be run since you have patch 4.3.2 already and this is an old one" (something to that effect anyway lol)

I was on Vent with him the other night trying to figure this out. I'm not really sure what needs to be done to preserve his retail install and allow a separate install of 1.12.1.

Anyone?

just put them in separate folders.

name one World of Warcraft1, leave the other. the exe in your scriptcraft folder connects you to scriptcraft, the one in your other folder is retail.

or you could just get rid of retail since it's shit.
