The dog I had as a kid lived for almost 17 years. I'm sure you still have a few years to go.

I stopped reading them after the Goblet of Fire. I liked the books, but I didn't like them enough to keep on reading them when each book got a couple hundred pages each time.

Son, I am disappoint.

I didn't read nor watch Harry Potter. What now?

Stopped reading after the third book =x

Never enjoyed them much - the world is awesome, but I was never really that engaged with the characters.

I'm glad it didn't gain traction, Tuhl.

So you're a wizard. This explains a great number of things.

Yeah. He's definitely got a few years.

Eddie belongs to my boss but I'm his favorite person. He's so well trained and adorable.

Everyone misses TBC.

PS: Zaryi you especially have no excuse. You were like 12 for the entire running life of the Harry Potter books. Though to be fair, book 3 is probably the best.

I read my first book at the age of 17. Bit before the first movie iirc. I think Goblet had already come out at that point.

I stopped reading after the 4th I think. I was reading like one a week as they came out. I was reading them instead of sleeping and so I was starting to see and hearing things from the book. When I saw the black wolf I was like fuck this. I'll stick with the movies.

I got really into them before the third book came out. The hype started between the third and fourth books, and it was around then that they began talking movie deal. I was about 11 when they started auditioning for the movies. I remember being super pissed that Rowling would only allow British kids to star in the films. Ruined my lifeee. :(

Fucking loved Ender's Game + the rest. I'm not sure I really buy into the whole "Ender is Hitler and Card supports the nazis" thing, but the last time I read it I was like 9 and too young to draw the correlation. As far as I'm concerned, it was just a good book.
