I think I actually could qualify as a Hipster Gamer....I just played Dear Esther this past weekend.


No, really, I think you and Tuhl and a few others are just "elitist gamers." There is the "right" way to game, and the "wrong" way to game. The "right" games to play and the "wrong" games to play. The "right" system/set up to have and the "wrong" system/set up to have.


Personally, I tend to think people should play what games they want to play, however they want to play them.

I want to start a new mage-ish type character who can pwn people.

My Archer/DUal Daggers sneak specialist is just too OP still.

set it to master asap in helgen. And only use your fists/restoration spells.
Heavy armor and the perk to convert armor rating to damage.

You don't go through the meta gaming we came up with in vanilla wow and say that there's a right way to play the game and a wrong way with a straight face.

I just gave my copy of skyrim back to gamestop and got $27. I couldn't bring myself to make another character because I loved my illusionist hunter too much. Plus everything would be the same anyway.

I'm back into pokemon and SFxT though! Playing sapphire version while my friend finally beats heart gold (I didn't want to delete my 2 years of work on my soul silver version, I'm finally close to completing the poledex for the first time since blue version). As soon as hes done we're getting black and white. Y'all should join us!
