Taking an extended hiatus from gaming

Alright so here's my current dilemma.

My ex slept with her best friend's little brother (he's 18 so it wasn't illegal or anything).
She is keeping my gameboy from me and it's driving me insane (not sure if just lolgameboy or the principal of the matter).

I can move passed her and be fine but when I remember the gameboy I start spiraling until I just want to tell her friend that she slept with him.

I don't want to do this because it would destroy her. I don't want to hurt one of the only things I love.

Problem is, I can't move on because of the gameboy so I keep going back to the place where I feel like a bomb that's about to go off.

I don't like feeling like a bomb, I don't like feeling like I have the ability to destroy this person. If she'd give me the gameboy I feel like I could move on and not feel so inclined to tell her friend. At this point I just want to tell her so I can stop feeling that way.

What do I do?


I've toyed around with the idea of telling one of her not so close friends about it (I talk to her on a regular basis) just to get it off my chest and feel less guilty if it got out at that point. I just really don't know what to do.

So clearly you only have 4 options.

1.) Get the gameboy back
2.) Destroy her
3.) Get the gameboy back AND destroy her
4.) Do nothing


I believe 1 and 3 are the two options that you should focus on...but if getting the gameboy back is impossible, you'll have no choice but to destroy her.

lol don't think it's an option unless I wait her out for like months and just deal with feeling like a bomb.

She likes to bury her head in the sand and hope her problems go away but they never do and I'm certainly not going to.

I'd like to forget it all if I could but I just can't, I'm that kind of person.

Mail her a letter, or a voicemail/email, saying that you know that she slept with this boy when he was 17, and got him to go along with it by giving him drugs.

Say that your only goal is to move on, you don't want a sex offender in your life, and that you feel the return of your gameboy will allow you to find closure. If she does not return the gameboy, then say you will have no choice but to turn her in.

Tell her that you want the gameboy left in front of your place of residence within 24 hours, and if this is not done by the deadline, you will call the cops. Tell her that since she has a history of possession, the cops will know she's guilty by way of association.

If she doesn't cooperate, do it. She will then become so scared she will hand over the gameboy.

This is my honest advice.

Also, your package came today but I have to go pick it up and I don't think I'll be able to do so till like Saturday probably and I think I have to go to a wedding that day.

I'm not sure you need to go about it in the exact way Aestu describes...but he still makes a valid point - why couldn't you just use the threat of destroying her as leverage to get your gameboy back?

It's the principal of the thing though Synth! Bitch has his gameboy!

Because if threaten her with that, she get pissy, shuts down, and just stops talking to me. So, not an option.
