Aside from running biking etc what do your work outs look like?

I don't have the endurance to workout for an extended period of time unless I'm also running or biking as part of the workout.

What I want to know is, could I just workout 2-3 times a day for shorter duration while still pushing my muscles to their limit instead of one long workout?

I've heard mixed opinions on breaking up the workout but from what I've gathered, breaking it up is acceptable if not better.

C/D?

The entire purpose of cardio is to build up your heart rate without letting it drop substantially. With that said, I doubt it would negatively impact your results to a degree worth worrying about.

Keep in mind, a lot of the places you've likely read those things (assuming various forums/yahoo answers etc) probably have people that take working out to varying degrees of seriousness.

I'm sure one of the methods is 'more ideal' but this doesn't mean the other isn't viable for your level of seriousness.

Yah, that's definitely the way to go. I've dropped two pant sizes and my current pair don't fit anymore. Biggest sign is that I can wear my running shorts from 4 years ago, lol.

Losing weight is great, but expensive :[ I really need to break myself of my habit of spending 50+ bucks for a pair of pants, especially of I keep shrinking out of them.

I know what you mean. I have dropped 60lbs over the past year (I carried it all over rather than in one place) and the worst part is not having pants that fit. I am able to wear clothes from junior high (except none of that stuff is in style anymore)

I love Gap jeans, but i have a hard time forking over $80-$90 for a pair of what I consider to be cheap jeans. I found an awesome pair of ripped jeans at Wet Seal for like $20, but the moms at my daughter's school give me "looks" when I wear them. I am starting to shop in the juniors section at the store again.

I am terrible at working out though. I wanted to get a gym membership, but they are so dang expensive!

Also, their contracts are written by some real douchebags. They rival cell-phone service contracts.

So I had an interesting observation today. There was this girl that I used to work at a movie theatre with. She was cute, normal body sized (not like skinny...but I'd say relatively slender).

Just saw a recent facebook picture of her...and ew. She got FAT. I started scanning through the FB pictures and it was wild to see the fat ones versus the older normal sized ones of her.

I just don't get how in a little over two years..she goes from a slender high school senior, to a FAT college junior. I felt bad...because she was so cute and now it's just bleh.

Potential causes I was weighing (no pun intended) in my head:
1.) She used to work out or do sports in high school, and no longer does
2.) Perhaps she went on birth control? I know that causes a little weight gain...but idk if it would make a normal sized person become really fat
3.) She's been with the same guy forever...maybe she just stopped caring?
4.) Perhaps it was just the "freshman 15" (though I've seen data that suggests that thing is a myth)....but yeah eating poorly and drinking tons of beer in college would tend to make one fat.

I can't speak for that fatty but i went from <80kg to >100kg in under 6 months. It was completely intentional. I wanted to know how easy it was to actually get fat if you tried. Turns out its really easy and a lot easier than losing the weight!

Now for me i'm like 6 foot something so 20kg spreads out pretty evenly so its not as drastic a visual transformation.

Consider going into acting? That's a required skill, you know.

Besides, you're a Commonwealther. So you win automatically.

I'm 5'10", so I can spread it out pretty well also. Henq and Kaldoreii met me last year at my heaviest and I would be surprised if either of them thought of me as anything besides normal. I didn't intend to lose the weight either. I got sick and then had a facial injury that restricted my diet.

Same as pounds, but slightly fatter. Women use them to conceal their actual weight, and sometimes as a euphemism for the exercises they do to tighten their business parts up after using them to make a baby.

Cool kids use stone.

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.
