It's an issue that defines our time. Just because you can't see how you are being manipulated (I bet you think they give you college money because they're "nice people", and you emulate their hairstyles because they're "cool") doesn't mean you aren't or that there won't be serious collective long-term consequences.
It's been "three weeks" since the last thread but the issue is one we deal with daily. It is arguably the single biggest social issue of our time, way more important than the Iraq War or national debt.
Would you think it strange that black people feel inclined to talk about Jim Crow or apartheid every day if they lived under such a system? Or stranger that they woudn't?
