If you're snickering a bit like me, then no. I honestly can't remember being bullied beyond being called fat a few times or "look at that nerd playing Magic in the library" before my first class since the bus was one of the first to arrive.

Snickering? How petty and childish.

Pretty much.

Meowth- you try to craft a self-image as a smart and tough guy yet you curiously have a capacity for neither thinking nor overcoming difficulty. You say you're snickering, but I think what is really going on is that reading about what other people have had to overcome in life arouses your insecurity.

You often react in this kind of characteristic way when your self-image is upset. You get snarky when you're frustrated with yourself for being unequal to others. That kind of petty reaction is itself a mark of poor character, and what's more, it's completely unconvincing. You're barely fooling even yourself.

Just like school. How convenient for this thread.

So are you meaning to say you haven't grown up since high school? Or what are you getting at?

Don't make me link that JPG about "What Trolls Want You To Think". Please don't make me do it.

Anyway, I think Meowth is just trying to derail the thread because he doesn't have any memories to share.

...can we get back on track talking about gardening again?

I could have left my original post in. And if you don't think one of the things I wait for is "I can't wait to see Aestu's reply", especially in threads like these, I've got news for you.

Spoiler (highlight to view):
I can't wait for it.
Spoiler (highlight to view):
Actually I can because I'm going to bed now

It's not a surprise to me that you or other people care what I think or say. Sweet dreams.

Getting back on track, Kay, did you try squash/citrus/irises, or what?

Irises grow like anywhere I thought and they spread all over. I actually mow them at my house so they don't take over my lawn(they spread out and then the center stops growing well), we basically have them as like a hedge around our lawn to keep thorns and trees from growing where we mow. From time to time we dig up one half(we try to keep it to like a 1.5-2ish foot strip where its close to the house or other flower gardens) and plant them some where else/chuck them off into the woods.

That's my experience exactly. They grow particularly well in poor, clay-heavy acidic soil with anything from arid to wetland irrigation. And yes they make very effective natural landkeepers. An iris cluster will stop expanding once it reaches a certain size. I earned a lot of money as a child breaking up clusters, selling them and breeding them more.

I think they'd be a good match for Kay as they would do well in Florida conditions (poor soil, hot and wet) and are pretty hard to kill off. Since it's Florida, I'm sure she could find a market for the things, too.

Took a few photos today after I got home from work. I do a good bit of the yardwork, current project is redoing the artificial pond beds and maintenance of the backfilled stone wall with my Dad. I've really started to enjoy gardening and yard work in recent years.

I don't. It's not my house..it's my parents..and although Maryland is generally an extremely expensive state to live in, we live in Frederick county, which is somewhat better than places like Silver Spring and Germantown in terms of affordability.
