I don't see why they would go with the wow model. They're not trying to appeal to shit players on an ongoing basis like they think they need to do in WoW. They sell the box and they're happy.

Oh, then I guess I can log in and dick around since I have annual sub.

I assumed there was no way they'd simply give the game away for annual sub; I thought they were expecting sub fees for D3.

What that really says, to me, is that they expect RMAH to be a money printing machine so powerful, they will be rolling in cash even giving D3 away to everyone.

And expansions! WTB D3 expansion PAYING 1k plat GW2.

They get 15%-30% of every sale plus a guaranteed $1 for an auction posted as I understood it. Items are capped at $250 each.

Personally, I would rather play the TF2 hat game and sell another unusual for $120.
