Yeah it's definitely worth playing. It seems like a glorified d2 but with RMAH you could probably make back your initial cost.

It's fun. Community is better and more mature than wow and other games for the most part. I attribute this to an older fan base.

Absolutely no way. Chinas will give you a run for your money. Gold farming in any game is incredibly low yield for just that reason and if anything a free market will cause prices to plummet even further.

The nominal yield of gold farming in any game is a fraction minimum wage, due to market forces. It will be even less in D3.

I call to the stand Mazel...

I would attribute it to Day 1. All games seem to have decent community on Day 1 (well, except maybe SWTOR) because everything is new and interesting and people are happy to be playing the game. It will fade fast.

Aestu of Bleeding Hollow...

I finished act one but I wasn't able to get the last boss of the act down easily. I was a level 15 which doctor.
Spoiler (highlight to view):
I couldn't kite the butcher effectively because of his constant chain grip. I dodged half the chains but was sometimes forced to run through the fiery floor. My zom dogs were constantly dying. I didn't want to use a companion. Took me a few tries to down him.

I'm sooo far behind, haven't finished Act I. Hardcore grinding and gaming sessions are now a thing of the past :(

Nightmare is a nice difficulty increase when the elites are around. Especially Molten lol.

No new boss mechanics is disappointing though.
