Sounds like someone hasn't actually tried demon hunter.

I'm perfectly willing to believe it's easier. It is not, however, easy. And if you don't have room to kite, kiss your ass goodbye.

I'm only doing Hell Act 3 atm so I can't say anything about Inferno.

I'm level 58(DH), I walk into a pack of mobs, cluster rocket, big numbers come up, mobs die in one shot.

Requires massive skills.

My gear is average.

that's because the games were hosted P2P, and battle.net was just a glorified chat room that you met up with people.

you only lagged if your host lagged, which didn't happen.

they're definitely not comparable though, since bnet 2.0 is most of the reason that SC2 will never live up to WC3.

everyone played war 3 for years due to custom maps.

the only people who play SC2 after the 3 months or so that it launched are tourneyfags or people who for some reason think they're going to be MLG420pr0gam3r because the new bnet killed the mod community entirely.

I thought about this the other day and i think the only thing that will get me buying HotS is for the collector's edition. I can't guarantee that i'll install the game even if i do buy it.

Was the custom game scene that amazing in the very beginning? I wasn't around at the start so I honestly don't know. I'm willing to bet it probably sucked though. It eventually became pretty damn good, just like I expect a lot of great sc2 customs to come out eventually. I was way more of BW customs than WC3. WTB some decent Bounds plz.

SC2 is 1000x more popular as an e-sport than wc3 ever was, whether or not you, I or anyone else gives a fuck is irrelevant because this seemed to be the main goal and it was a success.

Side note, I fucking despise the custom game selection menu thing in sc2. It is literally the worst thing ever.
