Last night I smoked pot. This morning I went for a jog and sweat my ass off. Tonight I went for a jog and sweat my ass off. I've been drinking a decent amount of water today, could've drank more.
Tomorrow I plan on sweating my ass off some more. I'm 6'1" but I only weigh roughly 145-150 (I can see some of my own ribs) so I'm hoping my fast as fuck metabolism will win me this job.
And hey, thanks Dagery. Edit: I also plan on purchasing some Creatine Monohydrate & Furosemide!

Oh, they definitely do. They just like to pretend otherwise.

Does caffeine or alcohol not make people feel good? Alcohol certainly does. Caffeine wakes you up, sharpens the senses. In the case of my parents who are both addicted to caffiene, they need coffee in the morning or else they have a head splitting headache the entire day. It certainly makes them "feel good." Tobacco certainly makes people feel good...why do you think people smoke when they are stressed?
If you're going to try to say "drugs that make people feel good are uniquely dangerous" you need to include literally every drug.

I don't know if weed is actually useful for pain
Chemo patients routinely use Marijuana to help with the painful side effects of the therapy.
Arguing that weed should be legalized for supposed anesthetic properties is like Fluke arguing that religious schools should pay for $300/mo birth control pills to control cysts. It's true for some people out there, but that's not why the argument is being made nor will it be the driving factor in 95%+ of actual cases. People want weed to be legal so they can use it to get high. It's that simple.
Let me throw it at you another way. Say pot was as cheap and abundant as caffeine or tobacco are.
Do you really think that pot would see the same usage habits as coffee or cigarettes? Or that it would influence day-to-day behavior or general outlook on life in the same manner? Conversely, if coffee or tobacco was banned, do you really think that people scraping to get by would pay $100 or w/e to their neighborhood dealer to get a few ounces of grinds?

So you favor not letting people have access to medicines that would make them feel better because some people would abuse it? We better outlaw morphine or any other drug that can be used for other reasons.

Tobacco is cheap? Have you ever bought cigarettes?

No - I think it would see the same usage habits as alcohol (why are you leaving alcohol out of your comments by the way? Seems like it's inconvenient for you to mention it....)

Again, I think comparing weed to tobacco/caffeine is less fair than comparing it to alcohol. And what's this general outlook on life, or day-to-day behavior business? Obviously you're referring to stoners...someone who smokes weed most of the day, every day, has tremendous apathy, and produces nothing. What about people who smoke a joint from time to time? It's just the same as someone having a couple glasses of wine to mellow out after a hard days' work. The only difference is the legality.

Honestly, I think people addicted to coffee would do A LOT to get some if they could.
Also, I don't think you have any idea how much pot actually costs.

Just drink lots of water and stop getting high right before interviews. Hope they don't randomly hit you with one of the super drug tests though I doubt they will.

I've never injected, ingested or smoked any substance which is deemed illegal, nor have I abused any legal substance for a high. Hell, I've only been drunk once and can count the times I've had alcohol on a single hand.
With that said, legalize it all... weed, coke, heroin, acid, etc.
Some chick at my job pissed for another employee (for probation, not hiring related) and smuggled it out in a Gatorade bottle. THAT'S DEDICATION.
Also, if you ever have to smuggle urine to pass a piss test (I don't advise this under most circumstances) use a zip-loc bag taped to your thigh. If someone is going to be observing you, you're fucked, though.
The government is pretty fucking shitty for banning certain substances under the guise of public safety while allowing others that are even more harmful.
Where do you draw the line? Ban them all, or none at all. And stop saying it's about public safety. American citizens aren't that stupid.

I agree. I think it can be enforced similarly to alcohol and whatever else; don't use it in public, don't go to work or drive while under the influence, etc. I think any driving infractions should be harshly dealt with. I dunno, I just wish it could be a Go ahead and use, just be safe for everyone and responsible for yourself. LOL BUT THEN I'M ASKING PEOPLE TO BE RESPONSIBLE WITH THEIR DECISIONS AND LIVES OH SILLY ME!
