Bootcamp as in the separate hard drive on my macbook.

I just removed Skyrim and Guild Wars 1 from the 39gigs I set aside for Windows, but files say I still only have 12 gigs out of 39! What in the windows fuck is up with this? I went to 'Computer' and hovered over every file to see what the program file space was and it none of them said over 5 mb, there was one with 450mb but they still don't add up to 27 gigs. I checked the Recycle Bin to see if the two games were still in there but they weren't.

HALP ME I WAN PUHLAY WITCHER2 RIGHT MEOW!

do you have win7 installed? if so: working as intended
with every win7 installation you technically get home, professional, and enterprise all on your disc at once, it's just after you enter in the proper product key do you unlock certain features (that's how their "any time upgrade" service immediately gets you butts)
additionally, the way that "plug 'n' play" works is that all the drivers for those devices come preloaded on your computer, so that's another large chunk of your disc space gone
all of this so that the average end-user doesn't have to put any effort towards using their computer

Obviously he means that it appears the previous two games are still taking up disc space even though they have been deleted.

The answer is I have no idea. I've deleted everything on my external HDD before and it showed up as 100GB missing for some reason. My guess is something to do with the recycle bin or hidden recycle.

Last time I used it I couldn't figure it out.

Edit: was also 4+ years ago. So maybe.

And it actually has gotten more user-friendly.

Excellent. I've been considering purchasing some pos machine for chump change ($25-$40) to run Linux on and learn it.

I've heard Ubuntu is pretty user friendly. In the past, I used Damn Small Linux.
