Knowing the heartbreak that will come eventually, do you think it's worth having a pet?

Don't blame yourself. It's not a road you want to go down and its not easy to find your way back.

I'm sorry Kay =[

Just try and remember all the good things you gave to her.
They'll more than outweigh the bad and I can assure you that
she wouldn't blame you for what happened.

I wish you the best.

I'm going through one of the most difficult things I've ever had to deal with, and I'm learning a lot about how complicated human emotion can be. Aestu's advice was very good. It's important to acknowledge feelings you might not want to have or might not view as rational.

Necra's also right. Your dog loved you and you gave your dog a great life, I'm sure. Hold on to the memories and just do your best to process your grief. Your dog would not blame you.

The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Doctor Who always has relevant advice.

Thank you guys very much <3 It is nice to have people to talk to, especially when y'all give such great advice. I'm doing a little better today. Yesterday was hard because we picked up her ashes :(

That sucks dude :(

I've never had a pet cremated i don't think. Maybe our dog when i was a wee kid, don't remember. Cats are fairly easy to bury maybe that's it. Never thought about it til now.

Tell us some cute dog stories it might help cheeer you up idk. Or make you sad. I know when i think about my cat who died a year or 2 back i get real sad but think about how awesome he was and i feel happy. He did some funny shit its hard to not crack a smile.

One time we had pizza in the lounge and he took this massive run up to say "HIIIIIIIIII" and landed right in the pizza and everyone yelled at him so he ran off. 2 minutes later he did it again. Couldn't tell if trolling us or not.

Sigh. :(

Ah, memories.

He probably just had no idea what to say, or spoke too quickly.

Still, sorry to hear that.
