I wiped on Ahune twice today, with different groups, in mostly T13.

I don't know who these people are. Honestly, I'm really curious. I wonder how they manage to get through life. Being bad at WoW is one thing, but they seem to struggle with what I think most people would consider basic functioning.

I just looked at the BH forum, which I've refused to acknowledge since off-topic content was disallowed. The only author that I recognized was React, and his was a post that had been bumped from late 2010.

Bleeding Hollow was turning to shit before Cataclysm came out, but from the looks of it, the expansion was its breaking point.

A sample post:

Quote:
Hey guys, was wondering if you could help keep this thread bumped and give it a thumbs up. Let's get BH known for the best world pvp US. We all know it's true!

Because has post-Burning Crusade BH ever really been known for its world PVP? I'm certainly no expert on the server as it stands today, but I highly doubt that (aside from bads' ganking) there's all too much "real" world PvP going on between the factions.

It's conceited unto insanity is what it is. For Blizzard to presume to dictate that the players only talk about their game and nothing else, as if their customers owe it to them to speak of nothing else. In the minds of the brains at Blizzard, nothing exists outside the Blizzard campus.

I truly believe these people are crazy. Literally.

Pretty much the same boat. MoP doesn't seem bad. WoW is just 8 years old more or less. Playing in Cata really felt kind of forced most the time. Lately i have been having tons of fun with my hacked ps3. So much fun stuff to do on it. At least we still have fubu forums!

Tonight I did a few heroics. I was in Deadmines, fighting Vanessa Vancleaf, thinking that when she died, she set off a last round of explosives allowing you to use the ropes again, but instead died to her suicide bomb. I always thought there was one last rope swing after she went down. Anyway, I get criticized after that for not knowing. MEANWHILE, the hunter in the group had been, the entire fight, pulling a classic Hunter move... Swinging at the boss with a melee weapon.

Why I was the one to receive criticism was beyond me. But hey, that's wow. P.S. I'm not enjoying Alliance.

I don't recall the exact mechanics when it first came out but I know they made changes to it, maybe even taking out the last rope swing.

I do know it was a pain in the dick, as were all the heroics when they first came out. You couldn't pug them. Me and Team Allstate got the job done. Was actually kind of fun lol. I miss those guys. =[

Anyways, it seems the bad players tend to band together and blame the good players when something goes wrong (reminds me of the film Idiocracy). Numerous times I've had to explain fights to players and then they either continue to do them wrong via refusal or they're simply to bad/dumb to do it the right way. Then we wipe and I get blamed. I had a tank who, instead of pulling the boss back and away from all the trash, would just tank it there. Then, as some trash walks up and aggros to the tank or one of the other players, decides to try and pull the boss back. Then wipes happen. Then I get blamed/kicked. Repeat, sometimes the same tank will do the same thing 2-3 times.

My favorite kind of bads are the "PvPers" who you are ganking/they try to gank you. Then they finally kill you with 3 other people attacking you (very obviously). Then they trash talk you and you point out to them that there were other people helping them and they respond with things like "Nice excuses" or, and this is my favorite, "Nah man it was just me, there were no other players, you're just mad/lying/dumb". I'm like, how can you PvP and not have the situational awareness to not notice a big red hunter and his pet just blasting away while a paladin heals you? It happens so frequently that I resorted to taking screenshots of my combat log showing more than one player hitting me at the same time so IF they do say something I can shut them up.

Renegade(x) was one of the later players, possibly one of the previous as well. He went as far as to bash my arena ratings and tell me that, because he kept losing 1v1, in arena he would crush me.
Spoiler (highlight to view):
I beat him on both my Rogues, who he outgears. He has a t2 weapon and my gnome rogue is literally in blues as was my gnomes partner. He shut up after that.

I really don't understand what's so hard about this game. It plagues my mind trying to figure out what kind of people these bads are. Much like Aestu said, I don't understand how they function in day to day life...unless! I bet they use addons irl.

/end long winded rant

It's not even worth thinking about anymore.

I guess if you still play and still have a solid group of people to play with you could find joy. But if i don't see that i'm going to have that when MoP comes out i don't even know if i'll buy it. I probably will buy it. I like CEs. I'm a sucker. But if i'm not playing with likeminded broceratops it will be a one month thing, if that.

Yea thats the only reason I'm excited for MoP, I still have a 10man full of pals playing and RM has a lot of Vanilla players in it so I don't have to worry to much about pugs. I also find the first 2 weeks of an expansion to be the most fun :]

Cataclysm was the ghost of a dead horse. Mop will be the haunted house getting burnt down and the ashes pissed on.

Alliance is the child pool of the swimming club. Queuing for a random heroic is like sticking your head underwater only to realize the water is a shade of greenish blue. Seriously though, I think Alliance is populated with more kids so I need to transfer if I end up renewing July 15th... Still not sure.

It fluxuates. Sometimes the kids are on Alliance and other times they're on Horde. At this point, I'd say most the kids are Horde side but it's a close race.

The pool water where the body of Marie Joseph was on Sunday was described as "cloudy."

The community is so bad in general, it's shades of off-black.

I was about to go on a rant on how shoddily written that article is, but then I realized that it's AllVoices and is therefore almost required to be awful.

Still, the goddamn lede made my brain hurt.

Quote:
The authorities in the U.S. state of Massachusetts decided to close indefinitely after dozens of public pools that the body of a swimmer spent more than two days without being noticed in one of them.

wat
