The handling issues alone are enough to make any "skill" totally irrelevant.

I don't really know anyone but you talking about it "handling" badly, buff/debuff tracking left something to be desired(could suck for PvP) but actual movement seemed fine :[

But yea on the PvP front, if you are a "gamer" who likes competitive player on player action you should play a game that is NOT an MMO. They all suck for PvP :P

PvE or PvP doesn't matter because it still exists for both halves and is 85% of the reason I never leveled new characters except on rare occasion for professions. Why is taking a break from a game a bad thing again?

You can stand by that all you want. D3 isn't sub-based. It sold 6.5 million copies in the first week. You can't crush something that already won.

It's also generally an odd comparison. One's an MMO and one isn't.

Asking the same dumb questions again doesn't make the asking or avoiding the unpalatable answers any less insipid. If you like, you can copypaste my previous response and pretend I just typed it.

I think "sold" is probably not the right word. Almost everyone I know who played D3(90% of them don't play it anymore) got it as a freebie off their wow account. Now I know people will say "oh but they wouldn't have signed the year contract if they weren't getting D3" but it had 0 affect of most of our WoW status's.

You can't judge game greatness with copies sold. Diablo has strong, loyal fanbase. In fact, a good amount of that fanbase thinks d2 was better than d3.

Getting a blow job is better than getting an A on math homework.

It's not comparable, and neither is this.

not to mention the amount of refunds. i would love to see that number.

if we're saying sales mean everything though, CoD must be the greatest game of all time.

We're not saying sales mean the game is good. I'm saying that GW2 "crushing" D3 is an impossibility because D3 already won.

Diablo 3 is not worth $60, nor does it reflect 4 or so years of development.

No game is worth $60, but companies keep selling them for that, so we're pretty fucked wouldn't you say?

I'm a bit curious what you think reflects 4 years of development.

To be fair, the witch doctor class is a total mess. There's about 5 skill and rune combos that are actually worth anything. Everything else is either entirely pointless (exploding chicken), is immediately made useless by another spell (Spirit Barrage is 190% weapon damage for 100 mana. Splinters rune of Poison Dart is 180% weapon damage for 10 mana, or literally doesn't work (toad of hugeness doesn't affect non-white mobs, the hex shaman doesn't feel like hexxing things half the time, a couple of the passives that reduce cooldowns don't work, etc).

RETIRED.
