Sure, there's loose ends to sort out.

The interesting part of the story is over.

(just imo)

Eh, I dunno. Look at the end of season 2. It's not as if Walt had much going for him then --- aside from Skyler finding out about his phone, most everything had already been resolved. Jane was dead, Jesse was in rehab, Gus wasn't really as interesting and Walt's cancer had gone into remission. And then look at the masterpiece that was season 3!

I respect the creators because they've said definitively that this will be the last season. It allows them to make sure everything ends the way they want it to end...and they don't have to try to fart around and create a new season/storylines just for $$$$

You know that show Lost that people for some reason liked? It had 2 pretty bad seasons before the last one (confirmed by Lost fans) because they wanted more $$$ and had to stretch the series. They knew the ending, but decided to milk the series for more.

I caught up with the show now, it's gotten better overall. I still don't give a fuck about skyler, walt jr or any family drama though. I honestly skip past the parts where its just walt talking to someone about his family problems and get to the fun drugs and guns parts. Wooo!

@jushiro I think there is a lot of dead space in each episode where crap you don't care about is happening, but that's how the show has been from the start to me so I don't think this season is any worse than the rest(so far). I think Mike as an increasingly important character with more air time will make this season more entertaining since most of the boring crap seems to be focused on Walt.

I highly recommend that you start watching what you'd call "boring crap." In seasons two, three and (some of) four, sure, Walter's family life wasn't all too important. But at this point he's lost any resemblance to his former self and is now almost entirely Heisenberg, thus making any and all interactions between Walt and family both integral to the plot and highly relevant to Walt's continuing character development.

Season 1 starts off slow but by the end of the season, if you're still watching, you're hooked.

Well, for Breaking Bad's standard. But yeah, you're right.
