You guys should add me on LoL. Caterina. Tell me your names though cause I get an exorbitant amount of random adds from people I don't know.

it's the entire community for all of these games really. if you aren't matched with a bunch of BRs, you get people with downs. even normal people type like fucking morons, so you can't tell the difference. i had a guy the other day in dota 2 speak normally over VOIP, but when he typed, it resulted in "why top feed" "are you noob ??".

It's during a game that requires a keyboard, people type fast or only as much that's needed to make their point. This is fair when they need to get back to using their hands asap. I mean, the guy you quote sounds like a cock but you don't need to type in a game like you should for a paper.

Sometimes but not usually. A lot of these people really are just way too stupid to communicate in their own native language.

i'm not a nazi when it comes to ENGRISH, since you play with people all over the world. there is a difference between hasty typing and the average person in games typing though.

perfect example. people now type "y" instead of "yes" or even "ya"

@ necra: That feels extremely nitpicky to me. If I say "ready?" and 4 people say "r' that doesn't bother me at all.
@ Grimm: Your first post seemed too extreme to me but I may have read into it too much, I think short hand is acceptable in games when you need to move your hands back to the correct position quickly. I still think that if you're going to bother to type you should get your point across clearly(game specific lingo is fine here even if someone else doesn't know it yet), but that is all i expect.
