Eturnal, you are correct, normally a three-second soundbite is not fair at all. However, I don't think that Mr. Levin simply misspoke this time, it is what he really believes - that when we liberals say that the corps are turning away people with pre-existing conditions, he doesn't realize we mean (usually) congenital problems for -which there is nobody to blame.Well, except for maybe that your dude in the sky whom you lot swear by and doesn't want us to perform stem cell research, etc, but that's for another thread! He actually believes that only people who are sick should have insurance, and doesn't realize that a) under the current conditions, if you get sick good luck getting insurance after the fact, and b) accidents happen, you don't control EVERYTHING in your life as much as you "rugged, tough-guy individualists" would like to believe.
I wasn't kidding about taking Rush's 6 week challenge though. I listen to 105.9 WMAL more that I listen to lolmusic and WTOP and NPR. I hope that whether or not I vote republican in the future is dependent on more than just taxes and my financial situation. What else is there to you guys anyway? I know you don't like Obamacare, but where was YOUR alternative? And no, I don't mean the crap you sillies conjured up in
response to Obama's initiative, I mean why didn't
you lot step up to the plate? No matter what, so long as you guys stonewall initiatives such as stem cell research and women's right to abortions and contraception, I can never vote for you guys. Biological an scientific topics (which shouldn't be in politics anyway) mean more to me at this stage of my life I suppose.
I really believed that Chris Plante, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin would give me some sort of insight into Republican thinking and ideas. All I got was an Obama shitfest. Isn't that what you guys hate us for? Shitting all over your politicians and calling them names? Two wrongs don't make a right, you know.
Unless, of course, that "right" is the American political right
