it's more than just a funny show. it's beautiful and poignant and offers much more insight into life than any other show i've ever seen. although most of that only really starts halfway through the second season. it is ridiculously funny as well.

to explain what it's "about" is kind of hard. each episode is written and directed by Louis CK (a comedian) and it is a lightly (we hope) fictionalized story of his life as a single dad raising two daughters in new york city while being a semi-famous comic.

Verily, I have often laughed at weaklings who thought themselves proud because they had no claws.

Watched the show today, was pretty great. He seems to be a pessimistic realist but I enjoy the humor anyway. He's open minded and witty in his own sort of way. I will continue watching the rest of the seasons, no doubt.

Oh, and I especially enjoy Louie's intro music.

Damn, Louie can act better than any other comedian that I know of. Season 2 ending was pretty fucking hilarious/heart warming. The I'll wait for/wave to you bit was genius.
