I just think the subject matter of most of those fucktarded magazines speaks volumes about her 'contributions' to society.

Just about everyone agrees the media is sensationalist at this point. I think it's incredibly unethical how so many media outlets sell society the disease along with the cure.

eh. she accomplished more in her life than any of us ever will. also, i find it hilarious that everyone is under the impression women are so unrepentantly malleable that they have no choice in what defines them. women weren't duped into buying millions of these magazines. it appealed to them and they reached in their purses.

Yeah, exactly. Plenty of others have accomplished more in their lives than us, but that doesn't necessarily mean it made the world for the better.

Cosmo sells the disease and the cure. It tells women what's wrong with them, and at the same time how to make it better. It's unethical and it's a disgusting business model.

I have to borrow magazines from my "mommy" friends for my kids school projects. They are always shocked that I don't have any of my own. I have to resist the urge to tell them that I'd rather not get brain-aids. Plus there is no way I am going to spend money on that shit.
