Anyone watched it? Thus far I am enjoying, I am about four episodes in, and I do like it. I wish Jeff Daniels was my news anchor....

You watch and play things I've never heard of.

But if it has Jeff Daniels, I should find it.

Really? I figured all of this was old news. Order and Chaos is almost exactly a wow replica for the iPad, but with no monthly subscription. They just put in arena things for a pvp instanced element, but I think there are gankers and world pvp type things around. I think there are n,y a handful of dungeons, but it's for an iPad, so I think they're okay.

Newsroom is a great show on HBO, Jeff Daniels plays a news anchor basically fed up with fluff stories and bs, and starts actually doing the news again, good cast, and totally worth watching. The quick trailers for it are what got me, and I found it on my hbo on demand two days ago.

The trailer and premiere were fantastic—Sorkin's dramatic mania at its best. But after the Arizona episode, it went downhill fast. Too many rants, too much smugness, too little actual content. It became a mental masturbation marathon, really, rather than an accurate portrayal of the news media.

It's still enjoyable if I'm looking for something or someone to preach to my figurative choir, but a television drama should be above and beyond what I can find in an MSNBC broadcast. And The Newsroom isn't.

I like this show. It has some ups and downs, but overall a good watch.

Oh, so it's the typical, preachy Aaron Sorkin bullshit where the "villain(s)" are two-dimensional targets for the sort of diatribes no one ever actually makes in real life, usually in situations that would never fucking happen? Figured as much after I saw the preview where Daniels answered a question at some sort of college town hall thing. Sorkin hasn't been good since Sports Night, The West Wing was fucking terrible and only worked when it did because the actors, who were all amazing, carried the show despite the bad writing.

Pretty much. And on top of that, it's essentially Deus Ex Machina: The Series. Not worth watching past the pilot.
