had a good chat w/Matt Higby today after the MMO panel @PAX. Got a beta key too... Downloading atm, definitely curious. I missed the first one, but heard amazing things about it.

It's actually pretty funny. He's been publicly making all these statements to save face and appear all-inclusive (which is fair, because the Enclave is a festering hive of scum and villainy) while making additional statements on reddit and forums that he's happy the Enclave exists and likes what they bring to the game.

first impressions after playing with the Enclave: this game isn't really an FPS. It's a war simulator. Being "good" doesn't bring enough to the table to tip the scales. Part of me is annoyed, because I'm actually good at FPSes. But the whole squad setup is pretty sweet, and it's fun to be a cog sometimes. Sticking with the fuckers for sure.

Went 68 and 20 (counting /suicides to respawn at warpgate) as a DC MAX. I have nothing bad to say about the experience.
