Reagan came on during the beginning of the info revolution and Clinton was in office during its heyday. Neither of them (except Gore) actually had anything to do with it.
People remember Reagan smiling, rattling off Churchill quotes and talking about American greatness and Cold War nonsense. He did nothing for this country but run it into the ground. He ran up massive deficits on defense, broke the law and humiliated the country with Contragate (with the singularly pathetic and irresponsible excuse that he 'didn't remember' or 'wasn't paying attention'), and that's about it.
I mean, what else did he do, specifically?
