Okay so, I fucked with the sharing options on my user folders (mine because it wasn't requesting a password when you opened it from the guest account) and I made and deleted a new account. Then went to sleep.

Woke up and my computer has been acting strange and by that I mean, I can't run the diagnostic tool.



also, I assume related, I can't go to select sites. I can't go to Facebook (though recently I can go but not log in but can view help page) I can't log into my google account from google.com but most all other pages work and even the broken ones work if I'm on the guest account or if I run the internet as an admin.

Help?

Were you using the guest account?

ps, don't mess with sharing if you don't know what you are doing. Even then it sometimes goes full retard. If you rename the folder it may reset itself to default.

If only the top or bottom two work then you can googlefu your way to a better answer. HTTP or HTTPS links only working. I've had this once but I don't remember the exact cause.
