Boy, am I excited to use both new skills and old, to sweep out evil from crevices world-wide, battle mysterious goo, and generally make the world a bit more hospitable for myself and my friends...

....I'll be cleaning the kitchen tonight, how about you?

Strong impression: least impressive expansion ever. I was expecting to be disappointed and my expectations were more than fulfilled.

The content is garbage and it's completely obvious none of this trash was tested before it left the lab. Instances are stupid and boring and annoying and I can't imagine but they'll be even more so at endgame. They are AoE fests with totally random damage output and bizarre LoL-like threat mechanics.

Quests are incredibly bugged and badly designed (first quest is a vehicular quest consisting of something like a very slow Disneyland ride with a non-adjustable camera stuck directly behind the cart and only one ability on a five second cooldown that can barely be aimed). PokeWoW isn't just a Pokemon clone, it's a badly implemented clone (e.g., in Pokemon, all pets that battle gain experience, so weak pets can be leveled via swapping; in PokeWoW only the PokeWoW that attack get XP).

Whoever designed this crap should be butchered slowly and painfully.

Well this review certainly makes me feel better about my decision to not get the expansion and come back to WoW.

I was about 30% tempted.

It was free to me, so I'm not expecting much. I installed it on the computers at both of my places last week when I got the box, but I fell asleep before the midnight launch. I will check it out later.

God I hated how OP Resto Druids were in TBC. This is only strengthening my resolve to not play. Keep informing me about stuff I would hate!

I really enjoyed Wild Charging in Travel Form in the air so I didn't die. You can use it to dive to the bottom of a lake, looks really funny.

My resto druid is the only one I really felt good about. Minute cooldown on NS plus all the other fun stuff.

Lifebloom was just too good. Now it is this

Roots
Cyclone
40 yard targeted Barkskin, 20% damage reduction, 2 min CD

And picked through talents:

Permanent 15% movement speed (works with all forms too I think), or instant blink forward and cat+prowl on a 30 second cooldown, or fly to target ally's position on a 15 second cooldown
Instant cast on a 1min CD with 50% bonus healing, or 30% self heal on 2min CD
50% Snare for 15 seconds, or Typhoon
Super Tree of Life or Treants (not sure what the resto effect is for them)
Melee range 3 second Disorient on 30 second CD, or 5 second stun on 50 second CD, or a ground targeted AOE snare that pulls someone back in that lasts 10 seconds
3 min CD which gives 20% bonus healing/damage. Direct heals do damage to nearby targets and vice-versa.

And that "fly to ally's position" thing works with Wild Mushroom for some reason lol. Which are invisible after 6 seconds but have a whole 5 HP!

Plus the Last Stand, Dash, Nature's Grasp, Stampeding Roar (Shorter group Dash + Break roots on allies within 10 yards) jazz from before. I think the only thing missing is Bear Bash and Kick.

Try to imagine what Pokemon would be like if Protect lasted two turns, all moves have infinite PP (including Recover), capturing Pokemon gives the same XP as killing them and Pokeballs are free.

EDIT: Bite has a 25% proc rate and hits for a little over 1/3rd the HP of a Pokemon the same level

The Nature's Swiftness isn't just 50% more healing. It's 50% increased effect (longer cyclones).
Wild Charge is also Cat Leap and Bear Charge (with the root) and the turbo boost for swim speed. All on a 15 second CD. It's the best imo.
Mighty Bash is really good cause it doesn't break form, you can Wild Charge in Travel Form to jump to them and then bash them or better yet, Feral Charge for the root into a bash.
And I think the only other thing I wanted to touch up on was that Ironbark doesn't replace Barkskin, so you can have both on at the same time (40% damage reduction, I think).

I was playing with my prot warrior this morning and got LOL facerolled multiple times by a monk two levels lower. I was stunned a good 15%-20% of the fight, and never got them down below 70%. It's WotLK Death Knights all over again. I promptly logged and cancelled my sub. I need to get GWII anyway.

Try GW2 if you must but I think you will come to the same conclusion as many that it lacks enduring appeal and the culture is ridiculous.

What are people doing in GW2 at endgame, anyway? Besides pvp.

I figured Monks would be OP just looking at their stats even though they specifically said they were going to balance them better. Least the bleed cleanse didn't make it to live.
