I was making some pasta with meet sauce, and while it was on the stove I drank a glass of OJ. Then a thought hit me: is there any sort of orange sauce other than marmalade? Like, how many ways can essence of orange be made into a viscous fluid?

Also, another related question. I am occasionally baking fairly good onion rings from the store, but I'd like them to taste more like clogged arteries. Short of deep frying them (I doubt it's difficult but I am somewhat wary of hot oil) can I sprinkle them with corn starch before baking or something?
