Did you get your $15 upgrade to remove your start bar yet? Seems to run better too.

Not planning on getting it.

As far as operating systems go, Windows sucks (in my humble opinion).

Vista was a joke...Windows 7 was only good because they got better at ripping off OS X.

Vista was only bad because there was hardly any drivers to run anything on it at launch. Now a patched Vista is Win7 without the superbar essentially. There is a huge difference here in that 95% of Win7 is compatible with Win8. Though the same was true from Vista to Win7 also.

I'll probably use 7 as long as I used XP.

I don't upgrade shit if I don't have to, and i usually only have to once compatibility becomes an issue.

I have no interest in Windows 8. The Windows 7 extended support is slated until 2020... so I'll probably keep Windows 7 until then and only upgrade if the next release of Windows (Windows 9?) isn't developed with mobile and touch screen devices in mind.

I see no reason to rock the boat. I am interested in Linux, but am too cowardly to mess with my existing configuration.

So is reading the video description.

Quote:
Before you get too far into this... Let's correct our error. During the search rant (around 4:00), we missed the other options below our search bar. We were doing it live like O'Reily and totally missed the "extra options" below search. However, the point still stands that you have to do more work to get the same results you would have gotten with Windows 7. In fact, when you search for say, printers, Windows 7 would suggest several things and it would categorize them. This forces you to look through each category. It's a major step backwards.
