Aestu Goes On Crime Spree, Gets Slammer, Cops Are Cool

I went to a buffet, showed up at about 10:15, ate a plate and a half of food and some drinks, got more, then opened my laptop and spent the next two hours beginning work on a book. At about noon, manager shows up and tells me to gtfo. I say why, he says I'm not eating and been there too long. I say I'm busy writing, accuse him of harassing me for being ghey. He calls cops. Cops try to ask me to leave then arrest me. Take me to the station. Cops at station are super cool and go out of their way to be polite, possibly because I sat in the car and talked about my family (father is dr, uncle in area is lawyer, brother works for CA legislature). Charge me with disorderly conduct, $40 bail, told to show up at court tomorrow. Cops even make a point of going back to the restaurant to grab my bag and cellphone clip. I say ty. Court at 830 tomorrow. I bet the charges won't even make it past a hearing.

they have that shit here in japan too.

You can order the all you can drink (soft drinks and shit) for like $5USD, and if you start studying they'll politely ask you to leave.

Usually when it's busy.

We had to ask people to leave one time at DA PIZZA RANCH.

But only because we were busy, and they had been there for 5 some hours. There was never any reason once they finished the additional dining area next door. I never saw it reach past ~80% capacity after that.

Which was okay with me, because ~80% capacity was fucking busy.
