Unless they specify time limits or quantities of food consumed within a certain time frame, he's a paying customer and is therefore entitled to the product he is paying for. Talked to prosecutor before hearing, dismissed for $150 in court fees, grabbed a small claims form while I was there. Recent statute raised the claims cap to $7k in MA.

The police report attributed to the manager a bunch of provable lies (e.g., said I had been there over three hours when I have proof in the form of credit card bill and ticket that I had been there for a little under two), and that people were tripping over my laptop cables (also provably untrue as there was only one 16" cable and it had to be running parallel to the wall as it could not reach if it weren't).

I'll sue for defamation, fraud, discrimination and distress for $5k, they'll probably give it to me just to go away. Then I'll go sit at the local food court and write there instead.

Aestu of Bleeding Hollow...
