Weather is a product of the environment. More frequent and extreme severe weather is a direct consequence of climate change.

And no, it's not natural, the cycle of natural climate change takes thousands of years.

Depends what "electric workers" means. There are two major companies in New Jersey, and I imagine they're letting their own people handle the fixes (slowly but surely) rather than going through the hassle of private contractors and the potential errors they make.

I'd buy that the severe weather were "more frequent," or even "more severe," but I think some people are confusing "frequent" and/or "severe" with "in my backyard."

it was a big, slow moving hurricane and it hit the north east, which is ill equipped to deal with that much water or wind. not to mention it collided with two OTHER storms in the same spot.

I don't see how the sky is falling already.

It's extreme and abnormal and unequal in recorded history, as part of a general pattern of extreme weather worldwide.

Does the sky literally have to fall on your head? Or what's your burden of proof?
